This video is fantastic! You will not believe that there is an octopus in it. The transformation happens so fast the videographer plays it again in slow motion and reverse for you. The octopus not only changes colour, it changes texture. Enjoy!

Tuesday Tooth Report
I recently had my 4-month check-up at the Dentist (he insists on seeing me regularly while I'm going to the Orthodontist) and he was very pleased with the progress and how well I'm doing at keeping my teeth clean. I received a clean bill of health and a great tip -- doubling-up my elastics will speed up the process! I'll let you know next week how it goes.

The Longest Exposure Ever?
This photo is a 6-month exposure of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, about 120 miles east of London, England. The shot was taken with a hand-made pinhole camera from December 17th, 2007 to June 21st, 2008. Each streak of light marks the path of the sun across the sky each day.
This photo was part of a project that photographer Justin Quinnell created to record various views of Bristol from the winter solstice to the summer solstice.
Justin was the pinhole photography consultant on the upcoming Rachel Weisz movie entitled "The Brothers Bloom" due to be released in October, 2009.

Tuesday Tooth Report
I had my appointment yesterday. I have to keep wearing my current elastics which are honing the bite in the small molar area. The Orthodontist added a chain elastic that is designed to pull all 10 front teeth on my top jaw toward the front of my mouth, closing any gaps between them. Starting from the front-center of my top jaw, each "link" of the chain elastic wraps itself around each bracket for 5 teeth back on each side. It seems to be working already and it's only been about 40 hours since they were installed. But, this is definitely an Advil day!

Farmers need to charge what their produce is worth
This young family has taken on a whole new approach to farming, including charging what their produce is worth rather than traditional prices. And why shouldn't they? They have a product that's organic and heirloom -- two qualities that are important to me as a consumer. And, given my shopping habits, I've already proven that I'll pay for it.
