The meaning of 42

Consider the significance of the number 42:

4+2 = 6
Your 6th decade is usually when you retire. You can finally sleep, shower and eat at any hour, pick up a hobby, or walk around naked 24-7 because you don't have to leave your house if you don't want to. And, if you do leave your house naked, people take your age into consideration and easily forgive the error.

4x2 = 8
In your 8th decade you realize that walking around naked isn't a good idea but you can't remember why.

But what IS 42?
Well, it's nowhere near your 6th or 8th decade so celebrate! Happy Birthday, you! You've still got lots of time to find the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. So, go have a glass of wine, relax and watch The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe.
